There’s never a better time to learn an instrument than when you’re young, and I’m keen to foster a passion for music from an early age. Whether studying for grades, or having fun, I teach guitar and music theory in a friendly and accessible way.

I’m fully DBS-checked, and have considerable experience working with children in a relaxed and approachable manner.

David Strand has been our 15 yr old son, Tomos’s guitar teacher, for over 2 years. Dave’s style has suited our son perfectly. Each week Dave has taught Tomos techniques of increasing difficulty through the practising and learning of songs that Tomos likes. His style is encouraging and never pushy. As a consequence of this Tomos is so fired up about the electric guitar, is doing BTEC music which he loves AND we have never had to ask him to practice. We would whole heartedly recommend Dave to anyone looking to play the guitar (acoustic or electric).
