Choosing a guitar teacher can be daunting, and I understand you may be nervous inviting someone new into your home. You want to be sure that your tutor has the right qualifications and experience, has the ability to coach and communicate, get the best results and have fun doing it.

I fell in love with music at the age of 6 and have never lost the passion for playing it, listening to it, teaching it and talking about it!

Whether you’re a complete beginner looking to learn the basics, or a seasoned musician or band member trying to hone your skills, you will benefit from:

20 years teaching experience, private lessons and group classes.
20 years experience playing live in bands at weddings, parties, festivals and pubs.
10 years experience recording in studios and with digital software.

I aim to make my guitar lessons as varied, interesting and as fun as possible as well as structured and focused. I am friendly, patient, relaxed and good with kids, and also fully DBS checked for safety.

I cover all contemporary styles – Rock, Pop, Blues, Metal, Funk, Jazz, Reggae, R’n’B – on acoustic, electric and bass guitars.
